Click here to register \nOur Speakers \nDr. Sabera Shah\, MD\, Assistant Professor\, Harvard Medical School \nSabera Shah\, MD\, is Assistant Professor\, Department of Ophthalmology\, Harvard Medical School\, and staff ophthalmologist\, Beetham Eye Institute\, Joslin Diabetes Center\, Boston\, Massachusetts\, USA.  Dr. Shah received her medical degree from Government Medical College\, Surat\, India\, and her ophthalmology training at M.J. Institute of Ophthalmology\, Ahmedabad\, India.  She served a glaucoma fellowship at St. Vincent’s Hospital\, New York\, NY and her retinal fellowship at the Beetham Eye Institute\, Joslin Diabetes Center\, Boston\, Massachusetts\, USA. \nDr. Shah was appointed staff ophthalmologist at the Beetham Eye Institute in 1981.  She has been a co-investigator in the Early Treatment Diabetic Retinopathy Study\, the Diabetes Control and Complications Trial\, and other national and local clinical trials.  Currently\, she is a co-investigator in the US National Eye Institute-sponsored Diabetic Retinopathy Clinical Research Network (DRCR.net).  Dr. Shah’s professional interests center on diabetic eye disease\, with particular emphasis on diabetic retinopathy and cataract surgery in diabetic patients.  Dr. Shah has lectured nationally and internationally on diabetic eye disease and cataract surgery. \nMr. Amit Akkad\, ICC Director\, and ICC Lifestyle Program Ambassador \nMr. Amit Akkad is an Experienced Global Executive\, having managed multimillion-dollar global businesses as Vice President and General in the videoconferencing industry.
