Girish Mehta

Girish conceived, planned, and established Indian Circle for Caring USA Inc., (ICC) on August 15, 2007 recognizing the unfulfilled need of growing Indian Community in the United States. Since the early beginnings, Girish served the community by building the team of volunteers, adding additional initiatives, and expanding its geographic reach beyond New England states.

Professional Background

Girish has had various roles from engineering and engineering management to business management, marketing, and sales in the field of industrial automation. He was the founder and President of Firstsource Solutions Limited for 16 years – a consulting and solutions provider in the early days applying personal computers and networking to serve clients and their businesses.

After completing professional career, Girish’s skills, time, and energies are applied on a full-time basis in serving Indian Community through ICC.

Community service

Girish serves on the National Board of Advisors of Sewa International, and Governing Council member of Vishwa Hindu Parishad of America (VHPA).  He played an important role in establishing Jain Sangh of New England.   He has dedicated all of his time to ICC and its clients since its establishment in 2007.

Personal, Hobbies and other interests

Girish and wife wife Sudha Mehta now a retired physician live in Waltham. Sudha is focusing on her religious journey after over 30 years as Obstetrician and Gynecologist, having taken care of her women patients’ health and delivering thousands of babies. Mehta’s are blessed to have three children – Ashish, Paras and Mamta, their spouses and six grandchildren.

Girish has received various recognitions, and awards for his professional accomplishments in during his career in engineering and management as well as services to the community through ICC.

Serving community members in need is his passion, hobby and interest. He works tirelessly to help community members while also building an organization to scale the services that ICC provides.

Education

After completing an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering in India, Girish earned his Master’s degree in Engineering Design at Tufts University followed by MBA at Boston University both with High Honors.
