Mepani, Chetan
As a Director at ICC. Chetan’s current focus is on expanding ICC’s community outreach, Innovate ICC IT operations, new projects, and services to several Indian communities in the United States through partnerships. He also plans to focus on ICC’s marketing activities, conducting workshops and seminars, as well as work with the ICC board on its strategic plan. Chetan believes that ICC is the place “where caring support and helping hands provide comfort to a fellow community member”.
Professional background, education
Chetan is a Director at NTT Data Services. He has been working in IT for 25+ years with a focus on Product Management, Client Services, Process optimization. His expertise spans strategic planning, business development, executive leadership, product management, marketing, sales, strategic partnerships, and operations. He is a certified SAFe Agilist.
Chetan was awarded a “Community Service Award” from NTT Data Corporation at Tokyo, Japan in March 2019.
Community service
Chetan has been involved with ICC since 2007 when it was created. Prior to ICC Chetan has served Gurjar Association in the capacity of Director, Jain Center of Great Boston, and Jain Sangh of New England. Chetan created ICC’s presence on social media, participated in many community outreach activities and has helped drive one of the ICC flagship services – Health Care proxy workshop.
Chetan believes in building a civil environment to strengthen the connection to build a better support system. To build a sense of community and belonging. Chetan has a special interest in empowering students in need and helping them. Provide caring support and help as needed by the community.
Personal, Hobbies and other Interests
Chetan and his wife Sweta have been living in the Boston area for 35+ years. They have a son and a daughter, both married. Chetan has a deep interest in Indian music, Audio-Video mixing, DJing, and Karaoke. Anokhee, their daughter has a non-profit company (http://www.learntoloveinc.org) that provides many programs that are necessary for the development of differently-abled children.
Education
Chetan has done his Computer Science with Business from Northeastern University. Boston, MA.
Chetan has recently done courses that cover AI – Implication for Business Strategy (MIT Sloan School of Management) and AWS Business Professional (Digital) from Amazon.
